Privacy Policy

Via del Rancho (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is a private neighborhood communication hub for residents of E Via Del Rancho, Gilbert, AZ. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

When you create an account or sign in, we collect:

• Name — your first and last name, provided during onboarding.
• Email address — from your Google account or entered manually.
• Phone number — optionally provided by you.
• Household — the address you select during onboarding.

When you use the app, we store content you create such as posts, comments, poll votes, RSVP responses, and payment records.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for neighborhood communication:

• Displaying your name and address on posts and comments.
• Showing your contact info in the resident directory.
• Recording votes, RSVPs, and payment records for neighborhood matters.
• Sending email invitations to new residents (admin only).

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.
• We do not track you across other websites.

Authentication

We use Google OAuth for sign-in. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, a hosted database service. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access is restricted to authenticated residents of Via del Rancho.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you wish to have your data removed, contact your neighborhood administrator.
